Overview
Beeli is a personal keepsake app for important dates, memories, and future letters. This Privacy Policy explains what the app handles, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
Information you create in Beeli
Depending on the features you use, Beeli may store the following content on your device:
- Keepsakes such as titles, notes, dates, times, repeat rules, categories, icons, colors, reminder choices, and pin or archive status.
- Memories such as dates, text, mood tags, event links, and photos you choose.
- Future letters such as a title, message, unlock date, and opened status.
- Preferences such as appearance, date format, default theme color, notification choice, and Face ID lock choice.
How the app uses this information
Beeli uses this information to display your keepsakes, calculate countdowns and elapsed time, show local calendar entries, display memories and letters, apply your preferences, and schedule local reminders when you enable them. Notifications are generated and scheduled on your device; Beeli does not use remote push notifications.
Photos and device permissions
When you choose a background photo or add a photo to a memory, the selected image is copied into Beeli's local application storage and the app keeps a local path to it. Photos are not uploaded by Beeli. The system photo picker controls what you choose to share with the app.
Beeli may request notification permission when you enable a reminder. If you enable the optional Face ID app lock, Apple's LocalAuthentication framework performs the authentication. Beeli does not receive or store your biometric data.
Local storage and sharing
Beeli is designed to keep app content on the device and does not require an account, advertising network, analytics service, social system, or cloud sync. The app's legal-document screen can load the publisher's User Agreement or Privacy Policy web page when you open it; those pages may have their own hosting and privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Your local content remains on the device until you edit or delete it, use the app's local-data deletion control, or remove Beeli from the device. Deleting a keepsake also removes its locally stored background image. Deleting a memory removes its locally stored photos. A deleted item may be restorable only through the app's short undo window, if shown.
Security
Beeli relies on the storage and protection provided by iOS and its app container. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for choosing whether to enable the optional Face ID lock. No method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
Beeli is not designed to collect information from children. Because the app does not require an account or send content to a Beeli server, the app does not knowingly maintain a child profile.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or its privacy practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Please review this page periodically.
